I am learning being with a commitment to take my life to next level in terms of becoming world class human being , world class professional & having a world class health.
I Practice Yoga, do regular running, do Marathon & recently did 100 km (62.1 miles).I never thought about improving my health through body fuel until I met an extremely energetic gentleman in my last long run(last week of july’13).Danny (Name changed as per his request) is 60+ year old though looks 35 -40 year old -:).Below is what I learnt from him in an hour of an interaction.
1) By transforming your diet & how you eat your diet , you can dramatically take your body ,energy levels & overall vitality to next level of excellence.
2) Fuel you put into your body determines quality of your living , your success , your longevity & overall well being.
3) Mental clarity , Emotional well being & mental toughness are directly linked to the nature of one’s diet. ( I couldn’t find any scientific evidence though , I have heard how Indian Sages lived for 100 years with high energy & glow by only eating vegetables & fruits)
4) A Sattvic (Live food -created by natural interaction of of the sun ,air soil & water) diet can immensely increase your energy, stamina ,creativity,vitality. Fresh fruits , green vegetables , vegetables & grains comprises of Sattvic food.
5) Dead food ( Meat Products) put lot of stress on your digestive system, contains toxins, depletes energy resources that makes us tired , unhealthy.
6) Vegetables & dairy products all provide an excellent source of protein & in much higher than that found in meat products.Look at most powerful animals on the planet such as Elephant , Rhino & Gorilla are all vegetarian.
7) For peak energy , eat food as per your Nature cycle i.e. at defined breakfast , lunch & dinner time ( generally have dinner before 8 pm)
8) Drink lot of fresh water.It helps in flushing toxins out of our body.
9) Eat slowly & chew your food well.
I am seeing a difference in my self & thought of sharing how by adjusting your diet to include more high water content foods, your energy levels & mental agility will improve tremendously.
Do you not think that Food can be considered as competitive advantage by making our employees, friends & colleagues aware about benefits of Live food & its impact on one’s health ,emotional strength & mental vitality.Companies will outperform competition, be more creative,have a happy employees.
